Robin Williams MEd, LPC-S, NCC
Throughout her career, Robin has specialized in crisis intervention, emergency mental health services, and working within social services systems alongside child protective services, community mental health centers, and nonprofit and for profit mental health organizations. She has extensive experience serving minority communities and at-risk populations, including at risk youth, underrepresented adults, domestic violence survivors, trauma survivors, and families facing systemic barriers. Her practice emphasizes culturally responsive therapy approaches that honor clients’ identities and community contexts while addressing how social determinants impact individual wellbeing. Robin’s goal is to help clients understand their challenges while providing practical skills and tools for healing.
Outside of therapy, Robin enjoys an active lifestyle with her four sons, family and close friends, filled with sports, music, travel, and simply good and intentional quality time. Robin is passionate about reading, learning, collecting pens, journals, all things creative with color and of course sneakers. As a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, Robin constantly advocates for the overall wellbeing of oneself incorporating family, self-love, self-care, awareness, clarity, growth, and abundance.
